One of the things we look forward to the most in the office is receiving letters and comments from people who have either taken part in Young Voices or came to watch a family member perform.

All the work that goes on behind the scenes is justified when we find out the postivie impact that Young Voices concerts can have. We love getting the good letters and constructive issues can also help us to improve each year. Our aim is to continue giving you a reason to write.

Sara Herriott, Brampton Abbotts Primary School (Ross-on-Wye)

WOW. Our first time at Young Voices and definitely not our last. What an uplifting event. The kids will remember last night for the rest of their lives. Thank you so much for the spot on organisation. Everything was so easy and the venue was perfect.

Mick Kirkman, Parent

Breathtaking is the best word I can think of, though I'm not sure that does it justice – and to think you lucky people get to do it night after night. Thanks so much for a special evening that will stay in my mind forever!!!

Very best wishes, Judith Winters

A million thanks from the children and staff of Alt Bridge for another wonderfully memorable evening. The children enjoyed every moment of the concert in Manchester on Tuesday- it always brings out the very best in our children and they passed the day in true harmony with each other. I retire this year and I would like to thank you all for the immense pleasure that you have provided for our children over the years. The level of organisation is exemplary and I cannot adequately express the joy our children have expressed after experiencing each performance.

Mark Pimlett, Parent

Over the years my wife and I have been to that venue at least 40 times to see different events and must have spent thousands of pounds to boot but have never been so well entertained as we were on Tuesday night. I smiled as soon as I walked into the arena and never stopped until long after we left.

Bev Steensma, Director of Music, Ipswich Preparatory School

As a teacher I have done a huge amount of musical events over the years and this is by the far the best organised one! The amount of organisation involved in putting on just 1 night at theO2 is awe-inspiring. To have pulled off the amount of events you have is quite simply amazing. Please could you pass this email on to all involved last night. It just isn’t possible to sum up my thanks in one email but you have made not only 65 children very happy but also the director of Music as well.

Beverley Knight MBE, UK Queen of Soul

These kids will be retelling the story of this day for the rest of their lives.

Angie & Bob Wright, Parents

Thank you for a memorable evening last night at the Sheffield Arena, on the 23rd January. Our grandaughter Robyn was singing with her fellow pupils from King Edward Primary school from Thorne, it truly was an uplifting evening and one we shall never forget. Keep up the good work.

Appreciative parent, Mrs Anna Henderson

What a fabulous experience young voices is! I attended yesterday's event to support my two primary aged children from Kidgate Primary Academy in Louth, Lincs. It was a superb concert delivered with passion and energy and a wonderful tribute to all those involved. Please, please keep the gospel music section! The Lord's prayer was particularly beautiful and moving. Keep up the good work, and best wishes for the rest of the 2014 concert series. What vision you all have!

Claire Burgess, Royston St John Baptist CE (VA) Primary School

Thank you for the wonderful experience we had at Young Voices yesterday. This was our fifth year in attendance and as usual the whole day was fantastic and many parents have said how much they enjoyed the concert. For me personally, singing in the teacher’s choir was wonderful and I hope that it becomes a regular part of the programme. Many thanks for all your hard work, we really do appreciate the huge task of organizing everything to make it run so smoothly on the day. Looking forward to 2015 already.

Helen, St. Mary’s Primary School

My name is Helen Stevenson and I am a teacher at the St. Mary's Primary School, Edwinstowe and our school took part in the concert at Sheffield Arena on Thursday night. I am in my second year of teaching and this was the first time my school has attended a Young Voices concert, and we had such an incredible time that I wanted to send an email to the team to say thank you! The whole event was brilliant and to see how much the children were enjoying themselves and having so much fun performing was absolutely fantastic. It has been amazing to see children grow so much in confidence, enthusiasm and so many other skills through learning the songs in choir practices - even children who were not confident singers when we started out! Being relatively new to the teaching profession, I was also very grateful at how much support teachers had through the teachers' course and the CDs/DVD – really helpful! Singing with the teacher's choir was brilliant too. The song choices and arrangements were fantastic and my children loved the hip hop dancing and learning the other dance moves! The parents at our school were also blown away by the experience and all staff, children and parents are already talking about how we definitely have to do it again next year! Huge thank you from our staff and children!
